Did A Thing

So after three years and several surgery, it became necessary on September 14th 2022, to have a below knee amputation done on my left leg. The surgery went extremely well and I was able to come home the following Friday. Bandage dressing have been clear of blood and seepage. At my post op doctor’s appointment on September 29th, the physician’s assistant said that he would like to play a conservative and leave the staples in for another week.

Over the next couple of posts, I will update you on progress so far and some of the phantom sensations and other incidents that I have had along the way.
